TruckersHUB keeps running for ever in background when game is closed

Hello,

 

I've noticed that TruckersHUB client keeps running in the background under processes and using ~10% CPU and RAM and seems Read/Write on disk.

 

Questions:

 

1. Why TruckersHUB keeps running in background when the game is closed?

2. Why TruckersHUB even when running in background is not under System Tray?

3. What are things that TruckersHUB doing in the background that uses too much resources and what read/write in the disk?

4. Is there any way that i can always keep TruckersHUB in System Tray so i can close it directly from there?

Hi,

1. The TruckersHub runs at startup and keeps running even after closing game as if you restart the game it automatically starts and detects game running.

2. When you close the game it closes the client and goes into hybernation mode to not use much resources.

3. While game not running it wont utilize much resources. As cross checked its not using for someother users. If you are still facing this issue please try reinstalling TruckersHub Client once. If this issue continues please let us know so that we can investigate it further mentioning your CPU and GPU.

4. Currently No there is no way to do that.

It seems this is not happening, because if the hibernation means that the client will gonna use these already mentioned (check video) system resources then it means that the client never goes in that state, otherwise it seems that the client keeps working hardly and doing some stuff that are not known because 50MB/s on disk with ~10% CPU usage means too much heavy load, also this is issue is being acknowledged by other teammates too so i can confirm that is not only in mine side.

 

I'm going to re-install the client and will try to see if that will fix the issue.

Hello,

 

Seems the problem didn't solved even after re-installation of the client, i took a short video to show you that when i close the game the client still running in background with high resources usage.

 

 

Let me know if you need any more logs or anything else i can provide to help you reproduce.

Hi thanks for this information. We have worked on minimizing this usage. However I still feel the usage you are facing is too high as checked with others. We have worked upon this issue and you can wait untill the next version update of the client. The issue must be minimized in that update.
